Tamsin Durston & Elinore Vickery
presents another of their great workshops
A Midsummer Murder at Grangewaters
Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th June 2020
£120 one dog and handler
Includes a Fish & Chip Supper
There’s been a murder!!!
You and your dog will join a team of sleuths working together to solve the heinous crime.
Working through a series of challenges that require basic life-skills and owner-dog collaboration you will gain clues that might help you identify victim and murder, time of death, motive and the deadly weapon itself... or they might be red herrings!
Detectives will need a good sense of humour, plenty of rewards for their dogs and an ability to ‘think outside the box’ might help but dogs of all ages are welcome (although young pups and golden oldies are likely to become very tired so might well need extra breaks). It will also help if your dog is comfortable around others because solving the crime will involve teamwork, however where any dog does appear to struggle with any activity Eli and Tam will work hard to keep things inclusive.
This should be a fun weekend for pet dog owners, enthusiasts and to give dog training instructors with ideas for class games and activities.
Who is it for?
All dogs, any age, any size and we can even accommodate those who may struggle a bit socially.
About the trainers
Elinore Vickery and Tamsin Durston have enjoyed helping owners to teach their pet dogs together for 15 years and believe that the best results come from a trusting owner-dog relationship, well-established through behavioural understanding, shared fun experiences and teaching skills that enable dogs to adapt to whatever is happening around them so they can confidently, safely and happily live their best lives. They both hold current dog-training-instruction accreditations with the PDTI and APDT and actively demonstrate how to positively reinforce desired behaviour when teaching and with their own dogs, enjoying a wide variety of training activities from agility and tricks to working trials and nosework of all kinds.
Eli and Tam specialise in delivering workshops that owners and dogs can enjoy at any level of experience and will happily adapt each activity for each unique partnership’s ability so everyone can play.
